Peony 'Paul M. Wild'
Peony 'Paul M. Wild'
A super double, rich and velvety magenta-red peony that blooms mid to late season on shorter, strong stems that make it a great cut flower (and less inclined to flop from rain in the display garden). Great disease resistance and vigor. Light fragrance. Flower color resists fading. Plants to 36” tall.
Your 3-5 eye roots will ship right away if you order before November 20, 2025, or in early spring 2026 if you order later in winter. Orders for peony roots AND dahlia tubers will ship in spring.
These plants are 3-5 eye divisions, sourced from Dutch farms through the excellent wholesaler Farmer Bailey Plugs. Shipping to my farm is slated to take place in October, so you will receive your roots after they arrive to me.
Most likely you will receive yours sometime in the second half of October to the first half of November. You’ll receive a shipping notification (possibly in a separate thread from your order confirmation email due to the way my shipping system and website work) when your order ships.
Peonies are best planted when dormant in fall or early winter so this timing is perfect. There is a small possibility that some varieties may not come in since these are perishable farm products/living things, or that their arrival to me will be delayed for some reason. If there is any issue with peony roots you have ordered, I will let you know. If your roots do not come in, a refund for the purchase price of the unavailable roots will be issued. If your whole order is unavailable, a full refund for the purchase price plus shipping will be issued as soon as I am aware of the need.
