Lovely deep, dark fuchsia highly double blooms— the color is fairly unique in that it tends towards purple rather than pink. I find this color is often in demand as a cut flower during peony bloom season. Long, strong stems hold fragrant, mid-late-blooming flowers with tons of petals. Leaves are more disease resistant than many. 36” tall plants. This variety is sometimes known as ‘Fiona.’ This is a PREORDER for fall shipping. Your 3-5 eye roots will ship in late October or November, 2025.
These plants are 3-5 eye divisions, sourced from Dutch farms through the excellent wholesaler Farmer Bailey Plugs. Shipping to my farm is slated to take place in October, so you will receive your roots after they arrive to me.
Most likely you will receive yours sometime in the second half of October to the first half of November. You’ll receive a shipping notification (possibly in a separate thread from your order confirmation email due to the way my shipping system and website work) when your order ships.
Peonies are best planted when dormant in fall or early winter so this timing is perfect. There is a small possibility that some varieties may not come in since these are perishable farm products/living things, or that their arrival to me will be delayed for some reason. If there is any issue with peony roots you have ordered, I will let you know. If your roots do not come in, a refund for the purchase price of the unavailable roots will be issued. If your whole order is unavailable, a full refund for the purchase price plus shipping will be issued as soon as I am aware of the need.
