Quaking Grass (Briza maxima) Seeds
Quaking Grass (Briza maxima) Seeds
Quaking grass, known as Briza by many flower farmers and florists, is a gorgeous, delicate textural addition to bouquets and other floral designs. It is an annual, super easy to grow and prolific. You can start cutting the flower heads around a month after transplanting and continue into the next month or two, or wait til the plant has a bunch of developing seedheads and cut the whole plant at once to sell as fresh or dried cut flower bunches. Offered in packets of 100+ (count is not precise and I packed them generously so there should be well over those numbers in each packet). I have not germination tested these seeds yet at the time of listing them, but will do so and update the information here once I have.
IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTE: Seeds will ship SEPARATELY from dahlia tubers in winter to spring 2026. Please ensure you place seed and tuber orders separately. Thank you!
GERMINATION INFO: These annual ornamental grass seeds are very easy to grow; sow in flats 1/8” deep. Seeds should germinate in a few days to 2 weeks at 65-70*F.
